The IR absorbing materials we utilize are relatively new technologies that gives us an advantage when mixing with other color pigments.
The IR-absorbing materials in the coatings help ‘dump’ infrared radiation into heat energy rather than reflecting it back, providing crucial reduction of heat signatures and IR visibility from critical components. This makes detection by the enemy more difficult.
All objects emit some level of IR radiation, with the amount depending on the object’s temperature. Certain military equipment like aircraft, vehicles, and weapons give off distinctive IR radiation signatures that can be detected by infrared cameras or heat-seeking missiles. To help mask these signatures, our IR-absorbing coatings can be applied to those critical parts.
Super Prime is a nano-ceramic, adhesion-promoting, clear primer that provides 100% cross-link adhesion between coatings.

The purpose of this thin-film, exterior nano-ceramic coating, is to wick heat out of the metal of a gun barrel at a very rapid pace in order to lower the temperature of the metal.
Heat that is loading into the barrel coming from the ignition & explosion of the gun powder, and the frictional heat coming from the rub of the metal of the bullet traveling through the barrel are the two primary sources of heat.
The physical aspects of the coating grab the heat off from the substrate and expels it out into the surrounding air, which then quickly and naturally dissipates.
The end result is a lower barrel temperature that is less prone to the problems associated with heat overload.

Bow String – it quiets the noise level when arrows are released and can extend the life of the bow string.
Cams – as a topcoat it allows for a slicker string groove having less dirt pick-up- extending string life. Cam axles can be treated with GLIDE to reduce friction as the cams rotate on them.
Arrow Rests – GLIDE can be used on all arrow rest types (containment, drop-away or launch) and will allow for reduced friction as the arrow passes upon release.
